ALTA MERE GENERAL WARRANTY PROVISIONS
Purchaser shall assume responsibility for compliance with state and local laws, regulations and ordinances in all states where vehicle is operated, as such relate to the use of products purchased at Alta Mere.
Alta Mere is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle or its contents while parked on or about the premises. Alta Mere is not responsible for unrelated, incidental or pre-existing conditions, defects or faults in vehicle not caused by Alta Mere or its employees.
All products sold by Alta Mere will be warranted under the terms of the manufacture’s warranty. Installation is warranted for one year from the date of purchase at the original installing store. All warranty work must be accompanied with receipt and is done by appointment only. If warranty work is performed at a different location, the firm will be warranted but there will be a charge for labor as follows: $10.00 per window, or $25 for a rear window, or $50 for the entire vehicle. Alarms will be warranted with the terms of the manufacturers warranty and installation will likewise be covered for one year from the date of purchase. After one year or at a center other than original store there will be a charge. It will be the store hourly rate times number of hours to perform work needed.
A five-percent tolerance for silver specs, bubbles or imperfection in window film is allowable and will be accepted as perfect work. Alta mere is not responsible for rear defroster damage. All repairs are the responsibility of the customer, even if the rear defroster has been disrupted or damaged during the tinting process. No allowance for repairs will be accepted. Never use rough bristle brushes, harsh abrasives, acid or ammonia products for cleaning window film. Alta Mere recommends solar film cleaner for the most effective maintenance and to revitalize and condition your film.
Alta Mere will not warranty film to adhere to a dot or line matrix window due to the fact it must make full contact with glass direct.
Pre-existing electrical noise interference in your vehicle may become enhanced after the installation of some audio components. Fees for troubleshooting and electronic noise filtering components will be additional.
Alta Mere is not responsible for the condition of customer’s equipment installed by our store.
Customer’s exclusive remedy for any cause relating to this transaction is Customer’s return of the vehicle to the Alta Mere Store where the original work was performed. Proper installation of product or service will be considered by Customer to be a full remedy of Customer’s damages, if any. Customer has been informed that the Alta Mere Store is independently owned and operated. Customer agrees that it looks to the Alta Mere Store and not to Alta Mere Industries, Inc. (or its assigned managing agent) with respect to any consideration or damages incurred as a result of this transaction. In any event any claims or damages will not exceed the total amount of work performed on the front of this invoice.
An independent Customer Relations Department has been assigned by Alta Mere to assist in non-binding mediation of any disputes. Should the Customer and the Alta Mere Store have an unresolved dispute or inquiry, the Customer may contact the Customer Relations Department, PO Box 354, Midlothian, IL 60445, by phone or fax (708-389-9882) for assistance in mediating a resolution.
