July is National Ultraviolet Safety Awareness Month Enjoying the warm weather and sun is one of the best parts of the summer, but it has its own dangers. July is National Ultraviolet Safety Awareness Month, and Alta Mere has some tools to keep you and your family safe this summer. Ultraviolet (UV) light is responsible for much of the cases of skin cancer in the United States due to prolonged exposure to sunlight.
